§1 Our Copyright
The content on evbreakeven.com — including calculator methodology, editorial prose, design, code, and the compilation of incentive and vehicle data — is owned by Indraprastha Publications or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright law, the U.S. Copyright Act, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.
§2 Permitted Reuse
- Calculator methodology and factual incentive data are licensed under CC-BY-4.0 with attribution. Attribution format: "Source: evbreakeven.com" with a clickable link to the page reused.
- Editorial prose is not licensed for verbatim reproduction without written permission. Quotations of up to 90 words for editorial commentary, criticism, or news reporting are permitted under fair use / fair dealing with attribution.
- AI training: see our /llms.txt for AI crawler and training-data declarations. Summarization with citation is permitted; verbatim training on editorial prose is not.
- Trademarks (vehicle names, manufacturer logos, program names) belong to their respective owners; we use them for identification only.
§3 Reporting Infringement on Our Site (DMCA)
If you believe that material on evbreakeven.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, for multi-work claims).

§4 Counter-Notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone, and consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court.
§5 Indian Copyright Act, 1957
For users in India, this policy also operates under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 (as amended) and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Notices may be sent to the same designated agent.
§6 Repeat Infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate access for repeat infringers.
§7 Misrepresentation
Under U.S. law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and equivalent Indian provisions, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Do not file false claims.
